Started freelancing full-time
Began taking on web development projects independently after years of tinkering with HTML, CSS, and PHP. First clients were small businesses needing brochure sites and WordPress installs.
Hit 50+ five-star Upwork reviews
Crossed the threshold where the review count started doing the selling. Word of mouth became the primary lead source. Specialized in WooCommerce, custom themes, and performance optimization.
Moved into API integrations and headless architecture
Client work shifted from traditional WordPress builds toward custom integrations: payment gateways, CRM syncing, inventory systems, and headless front-ends. Started writing more JavaScript than PHP.
Published The Freelancing Handbook
Wrote and published a 52-page practical guide to starting a freelance career. Available on Amazon, Flipkart, Walmart, and Waterstones. Notion Press, October 2020.
Crossed 100+ five-star reviews and launched products
Hit 100+ five-star Upwork reviews. Started building standalone products: TraceWP (free WordPress AI context plugin) and LaunchMode (Cloudflare coming-soon pages). Began exploring AI-assisted development workflows full-time.
